Treatments

Below are some common spine surgical treatments. Click the links to learn more.

  • ACDF - Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. Disc is removed from the neck and replaced with bone.
  • Posterior lumbar fusion - Stabilization of the low back for instability, deformity, or degeneration.
  • Lumbar microdiscectomy - Using a small incision, disc material that is pushing on nerves is removed.
  • Lumbar foraminotomy - Using a small incision, bone spurs, ligament and/or disk material that squeezes a nerve is removed.
